The era of jumbo jet mass travel helped the business record compound growth of 40 per cent year on year during the first six or so years, with profits poured into bricks and mortar growth.

The airlines and the other travel agents hated our guts as we were upsetting their cosy 10 per cent fixing commission. It was a wild ride that eventually took its toll. Probably not for Skroo — but for mere mortals.
